Poison Arrow

This collection is named after the Poison Arrow Frog. Native to Central and South America, this little guy (or girl) is about the size of your thumbnail and is distinctively bright and colourful. The poison arrow frog carries enough poison to kill around 100 people! Tragically, extensive deforestation in the amazon basin has led to habitat destruction for this species and left the existing population with an endangered status.

This print is my own painted version of the Poison Arrow Frogs, transferred onto fabric via digital print.

This collection was created to bring awareness to protect The Amazon and all of those who call her home.
